Rainier Smeink

Rainier is a senior associate at Oaklins Netherlands and is part of the M&A small cap advisory team. He has been involved in several transactions across a wide range of sectors. Recent transactions include the sale of Yxion to Normec, the sale of Pagter Innovations to a private investor, the sale of PublicSonar to Maltego, the sale of Aqualiner to Damen Shipyards & Purus Marine and the sale of InAdmin RiskCo to Achmea, PGB & CGI.

Rainier joined Oaklins in 2023. Previously, he worked for almost four years at YES Corporate Finance, a Dutch M&A firm. Prior to that, he gained experience through an internship at ABN AMRO. Rainier has a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s in finance, with a specialization in quantitative finance, both from the University of Amsterdam.
