Kärntner Restmüllverwertung GmbH has sold a 25.1% stake to Kärntner Entsorgungsvermittlungs
Saubermacher Dienstleistungs AG has sold its 25.1 stake in Kärntner Restmüllverwertungs GmbH to Kärntner Entsorgungsvermittlungs GmbH for US$7.8 million.
Kärntner Restmüllvertwertungs operates a 100k tons thermal waste treatment plant in Arnoldstein, Austria. The plant was set into operation in 2004 and markets heat and power generated in the waste treatment process.
Kärntner Entsorgungsvermittlungs is a regional waste management group. This acquisition will improve the company’s position in the value chain and will ensure a waste-treatment-stability in Carinthia, Austria.
Saubermacher Dienstleistungs is Austria's leading waste disposal and recycling company in the private sector. The enterprise employs around 3,200 people in eight different countries and offers full service in disposal of and recycling of hazardous and hazard-free waste. Saubermacher is expert partner for approximately 42,000 companies and 1,600 communities.
