Capency has been acquired by DQE
The DQE Group, a pioneer in data quality management (DQM), has acquired Capency, its foremost competitor on the French market. This strategic acquisition strengthens DQE’s leadership in the market and paves the way for a new phase of innovation and growth in the fast-evolving DQM sector.
Founded in 2007, Capency is a leading publisher of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions and a provider of high-value-added associated services. The company is the French leader in real-time customer data qualification and processing for data quality. Capency serves over 480 clients across various sectors, including retail, e-commerce, automotive and financial services, where customer data is a critical marketing asset. Its solutions help improve data reliability, enhance return on investment (ROI) and optimize the customer experience. Notable clients include Renault, Sézane, L'Occitane, Chanel and Jardiland.
The DQE Group is Capency’s direct competitor in France, specializing in customer DQM solutions for over 400 clients, both domestically and internationally.
Oaklin’s team in France advised private shareholders on the sale of Capency to DQE, financed by the private equity fund Verto.
