Jan-Willem is a partner at Oaklins Netherlands with ample experience in equity capital markets and M&A. His main focus is on providing independent strategic advisory services from an IPO perspective while also actively being involved in raising equity growth capital for non-listed companies as well as M&A transactions. Recently, he advised Avantium on the successful primary sub-20 equity offering through an accelerated bookbuild and supported Ctac on the acquisition of Purple Square Management.

Prior to joining Oaklins Netherlands in 2019, Jan-Willem was a director in PwC’s capital markets team, where he advised on a broad range of equity capital market transactions. In addition, he assisted multiple companies in getting ready for an IPO or alternative exit, such as a trade sale or a secondary leveraged buy-out. Previously, he worked in business development and analytics in the listing department of NYSE Euronext in Amsterdam and started his career in mergers & acquisitions at Rabobank. Jan-Willem has a master’s in business economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
