Quam Limited has sold a 52.45% stake in the company to Oceanwide Financial
The three largest shareholders of Quam Limited have sold a 52.45% stake in the company to Oceanwide Holdings International Financial Development Co., Ltd (Oceanwide Financial), following the subsequent unconditional mandatory cash offers to the remaining shareholders, for US$141 million.
Quam Limited is a limited liability company incorporated and domiciled in Bermuda. The group is principally engaged in various financial services including corporate finance advisory and general advisory services, fund management, investor relations, online advertising and financial information services, investment holding and securities trading, securities placing, and underwriting services.
Oceanwide Holdings International Financial Development Co., Ltd (Oceanwide Financial) is the financial services arm of Oceanwide Holdings Co., Ltd (Oceanwide Holdings), a China-based company principally engaged in the development and distribution of real estate properties and related investments. Oceanwide Holdings is a constituent stock of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange blue-chip index (SZSE 100 index).
Oaklins' team in Hong Kong acted as financial advisor to Quam Limited in this transaction. A general offer for the remaining shares will follow, thereby valuing the group at approximately US$268 million in total.
