Agustín is a director at LarrainVial, Oaklins’ member firm in Chile. He has extensive experience in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and equity capital market and debt capital market transactions in Chile. With a focus on the seafood and healthcare sectors, Agustín has worked on the sell-side and buy-side, and has participated in IPOs, block trades, and follow-on and bond issuance deals. Notable recent transactions include advising Multiexport Foods on the sale of shares equivalent to 25.6% of its salmon farming subsidiary for US$303 million; advising on the announced transaction of Laboratorios Saval acquiring the pharmaceutical laboratory Instituto Sanitas for more than US$80 million; advising on the sale of 65% of Valle Frío, a company specialized in processing and selling frozen fruit; and the sale of 70% of Fiordosur, a company present in the seafood sector selling king crab and Chilean sea bass.

Agustín has a bachelor’s degree in economic and administrative sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
