Thomas Roelens

Thomas is a managing director and co-head of the M&A team at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium. With a 15-year track record in investment banking, Thomas has particular expertise in ECM real estate deals, having closed over 30 transactions, as well as M&A and advisory mandates in a variety of sectors, with a focus on the food and agriculture sectors. Recent clients include Microflor, Lodewijckx, Greenyard Flowers, Cibus and Rima. He also advised on the Univeg-Greenyard-Peltracom merger.

Thomas joined the firm in 2016. He started his career in investment banking in 2005 at ING-Barings in London, advising on cross-border M&A transactions as well as equity capital market transactions. In 2008, he joined the corporate finance team of Petercam. He has a master’s in commercial engineering from the University of Antwerp (UFSIA) and a master's in financial management from Vlerick Business School.
