Mack Fire Protection, a portfolio company of Newlook Capital and Fengate, has been acquired by Summit Fire & Security.
Founded in 2005, Mack Fire is the largest non-union provider of fire sprinkler design, installation, retrofit and remodeling services, inspection, maintenance, monitoring and 24-hour emergency services in the state of Connecticut, USA. The company has established numerous competitive advantages, including an unparalleled reputation for design and service excellence, supported by its skilled, state-licensed technicians and an impressive roster of repeat clients.
Established in 1999, Summit has been a leader in the fire and life safety space, with the experience and capabilities to serve as a one-stop-shop provider of fire protection, security and life safety solutions on both a local and national scale.
Newlook Capital is a private equity firm that manages industry-specialized funds and invests across the USA and Canada. Fengate is a leading alternative investment manager, with over US$8 billion in capital commitments under management, focusing on private equity, infrastructure and real estate strategies.
Oaklins TM Capital in the USA served as the exclusive financial advisor to Mack Fire on its sale to Summit.
