Grupo Disal has sold a 67% stake to Australis Partners Fund LP
The private shareholders of Grupo Disal have sold a 67% stake in the company to Australis Partners Fund LP for an undisclosed consideration.
Grupo Disal, with more than 40 years of experience, has positioned itself as the leading environmental service provider in Latin America, with presence in Chile, Peru and Paraguay. Its businesses include the rental and maintenance of portable toilets, transportation and handling of solid and liquid, products hazardous and non-hazardous waste, water treatment, pest control and sanitation services, among others.
Australis Partners was founded in 2014 by former senior investment professionals of CVCI Latin America. Over 15 years, the firm's partners have led 18 investments, deployed more than US$800 million in capital and developed extensive experience investing in their core markets in Latin America.
Oaklins' team in Chile acted as financial advisor to Grupo Disal. The transaction contemplated a combination of secondary shares and a capital increase to finance the company's expansion plan and strengthen its capital structure.
