Alejandro is a senior partner at Columbus Investment Banking, Oaklins’ member firm in Argentina. He has over 30 years of investment banking and sales & trading experience. His focus is on the origination, structuring, syndication and distribution of a variety of financial instruments in local and international markets, participating in more than 500 deals throughout Latin America, many of which have been considered landmark transactions in the region. Some of his recent clients include Sociedad Comercial del Plata S.A and Suria Holding.

Prior to joining Columbus, Alejandro was the head of sales for Latin American investors at Citigroup New York, responsible for the distribution strategy and management of the sales teams in Latin America. Before this, he coordinated the re-opening of Citicorp Valores S.A., Citigroup’s stockbroker arm in Argentina, and was also responsible for Citibank’s equity back-book in Argentina. Before joining Citi, Alejandro was a trader at Banco Mildesa (today Banco Patagonia). He is a professor of global capital markets in the Master of Finance Program at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
