Henry Yau

Managing Director

Henry is a managing director at Quam Capital, Oaklins’ member firm in Hong Kong. With over 25 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance, Henry has advised on numerous M&A and capital markets financing and transactions across a diverse range of industries in the Asia Pacific region, with an aggregate value of over US$60 billion. High-profile clients he has advised include J.P. Morgan Chase, Jardine Matheson, SABMiller, Li and Fung and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises.

Prior to joining Quam Capital, Henry held senior investment banking positions at various reputable financial institutions, including J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Daiwa Capital Markets and ANZ. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and has a master’s degree (with distinction) in international banking and financial studies from the University of Southampton. Henry is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a fellow of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, a member of ICAEW’s Corporate Finance Faculty and is an ICAEW Business and Finance Professional.
