Brian is head of mergers & acquisitions at Oaklins Evelyn Partners, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. He also leads Oaklins’ building materials team. He has over 25 years’ experience in advising companies on fundraisings and the buying and selling of owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses. Some high-profile transactions Brian has advised on in the building materials sector include the sale of TG Lynes to Grafton and the sale of Euroclad and Eurobond to Kingspan. Other notable deals are the cross-border sale of TMD Holdings to Communications & Power Industries; the sale of Millbrook Healthcare to Cairngorm Capital; the sale of Sens-Tech to discoverIE Group plc; the cross-border sale of Market Data Services Limited to US private equity investor Sumeru Equity; and the cross-border sale of Floranova to Syngenta.

Previously, Brian worked in private equity. He spent 13 years with the private equity provider 3i as a principal making investments and advising on sales and purchases before joining Oaklins Evelyn Partners. He has completed over 200 transactions as well as many cross-border deals with Chinese, French, German, Japanese, US, Dutch and Spanish counterparts.
