Iain is a partner at Oaklins Evelyn Partners, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. He has over 20 years of experience in leading corporate finance transactions for clients. From fundraising to buying and selling owner-managed businesses. Iain has worked in a range of sectors on diverse projects delivering strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, management buy-outs, fundraising and disposals. Iain has a particular specialism in technology, media and telecoms, having advised on the US$220 million sale of Local World, a regional newspapers group; the sale of Responsource, a media database platform and journalist inquiry service; the management buy-out of Sparkol, a whiteboard video creation software platform; and the development capital raise by Cybsafe, a cyber security SaaS platform.
 
Iain qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC and is an Oxford University history graduate.
