Tibo Steen

Tibo is an associate director at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium with eight years’ experience in corporate finance. Most recently he advised a Belgian family on its public takeover bid and delisting of a leading European textile company; the owners of a leading Belgian spirits producer on its sale to a French spirits conglomerate; the owners of a European payment company to the European Payments Initiative, the independent directors of a BE-REIT in light of its reverse cross-border legal merger with its Dutch parent company; and the owners of a leading Belgian grower of specialty tomatoes on its sale of a majority stake to a Dutch private equity firm. He has also worked on several ECM transactions for notable clients, including Biotalys, Lotus Bakeries and VGP.

Prior to joining Oaklins in 2017, Tibo had interned for ING’s M&A team in Amsterdam. He has an MSc in Finance from ESSEC Business School and a BSc and MSc in Commercial Engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven.
