Schönek Group has been acquired by Markus Riegelsberger

Markus Riegelsberger, the Managing Director of Schönek Group, together with another private individual, has acquired 100% of the shares of the group via an MBO. Financial details have not been disclosed.

Schönek Group is a leading manufacturer of high quality rubber, plastic and textile products for the interior and exterior of personal and commercial vehicles.

Markus Riegelsberger has been with the company for more than 20 years and has been responsible for the successful development of the company in recent years.

Oaklins' team in Germany advised the shareholders of the Bavarian Schönek Group in selling the business.
