As managing director and head of debt advisory at Oaklins Germany, Torsten leads the firm’s financing advisory business from the Frankfurt office. With over 20 years of experience, he advises mid-sized companies and private equity firms across Germany and Europe. His expertise includes M&A-related financing solutions covering acquisition financing, refinancing and the strategic optimization of capital structures. Additionally, Torsten has deep expertise in real estate financing and renewable energy project funding. Throughout his career, Torsten has successfully structured and executed a wide range of complex financing solutions, including syndicated loans, mezzanine financing, promissory notes, private placements, bonds and hybrid or equity-linked structures, with a total transaction volume in the multi-billion Euro range. Leveraging his strong network of financing partners, he is dedicated to developing tailored solutions for sophisticated financing situations. Recent transactions Torsten has advised on include financing solutions for companies such as Encavis, Obotritia Capital, LIVIA Group, FCR Immobilien, LIMES Schlosskliniken, Deutsche Industrie REIT AG, Alucom, Deutsche Konsum REIT AG, DEFAMA, Berner Group, Alex & Gross, NOVA Group and Beno.

Before joining Oaklins, Torsten held senior positions at leading investment banks, including Capitalmind Investec, ODDO BHF Corporates & Markets, IKB Deutsche Industriebank and HVB/UniCredit. He also gained strategic advisory experience at McKinsey.
