HE Space has been acquired by CS Group

With this acquisition, CS Group increases its European presence in space to nearly 800 employees. The group would thus strengthen its installed base in the Netherlands, Germany and France and expand its development prospects in Spain and the UK. This acquisition will ensure a stronger presence with institutional organizations such as ESA’s ESOC and ESTEC agencies, EUMETSAT and industrial companies such as Airbus, Thales and OHB.

Founded in 1982 by NASA veteran Scott Millican, HE Space is a space engineering specialist with a long heritage and track record in the space industry and ranked a Best Supplier to ESA in the fields of component engineering, earth observation, communication and outreach, structures, thermal engineering and environmental testing.

CS Group, initially known as CS Communication & Systèmes, is a French information technology service company listed on the Paris Stock Exchange as a member of the CAC Small index. The company designs information systems, develops and integrates software, manages projects and deploys industrial applications, and provides science, technology and consulting services. CS Group is the French leader in air traffic control, the third biggest supplier of traffic management systems in the world and provides information technology consulting services.

Oaklins’ team in the Netherlands acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to Mr. Scott Millican and HE Space. The team in France supported the transaction.
