Bergsäker AB has been acquired by OY Forcit AB
The private shareholders of Bergsäker AB have sold the company to OY Forcit AB for an undisclosed consideration.
Bergsäker is a leading consulting firm within the construction related environmental monitoring sector in Sweden. The company, which specializes in risk assessments, automatic monitoring and project management, holds a leading position within its segment, with a market share of approximately 20%. Traditionally viewed mainly as an expert and single service provider, Bergsäker is implementing a strategic re-positioning program that will highlight its project management capabilities, and thereby taking a lead in the market.
OY Forcit is a Finnish group of companies which operates in the chemical sector. Forcit develops, manufactures and sells explosives, mainly to the Nordic market but also outside the Nordic countries. The group has three business areas: Forcit Explosives, which serves the civil explosives industry, Forcit Defense, serving the Finnish defense forces and other countries' armed forces, and Forcit Consulting, providing measurement, control, planning and training services to explosive users.
