Nikolai Lunde
Managing Partner
Nikolai is the managing partner at Oaklins Norway and has been an M&A advisor since 1994, working on a range of international transactions. He has advised both privately owned and publicly listed companies as well as investment firms, and has worked on transactions involving most private equity funds in the Nordics. Nikolai has extensive experience in industries such as marine equipment, building materials, automotive, logistics and banking & finance. Notable transactions include advising IMS Group on their acquisition of Jowa; FagFlis on their sale to Stark Group; Byggmakker Handel on their acquisitions of Skattum Handel, Gipling and Carlsen Fritzøe; Mestergruppen on their sale to Ferd Capital; COOP Norge through both the merger and demerger with COOP Norden; and Equip Capital on their acquisition of Cautus Geo.
Nikolai joined Oaklins Norway in 2008, having previously been head of transaction services at BDO. He also spent several years managing both equity and bond funds at Eika Gruppen, and prior to that, he worked for Krambo Corporation, a corporate finance advisor in San Francisco. Nikolai has a BSc degree from the University of Wyoming, an MBA in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and is a chartered financial analyst (CFA).
