Naturex SA has acquired Swedish Oat Fiber AB

Naturex SA, the global leader in specialty plant-based natural ingredients, has acquired Swedish Oat Fiber AB, a specialized manufacturer of oat dietary fibers, oat oils and oat proteins. Financial details have not been disclosed.

Naturex sources, manufactures and markets natural specialty ingredients for the food, healthcare and cosmetic industries. Headquartered in Avignon, France, the group has experienced steadily increasing growth throughout the last 25 years. Naturex employs 1,700 people worldwide and had revenues of US$437 million in 2016.

Swedish Oat Fiber is a manufacturer with a key international position as a producer of oat beta-glucans dietary fibers, oat oils and oat proteins for the food industry, nutraceutical, cosmetic and animal feed applications. The company has 25 employees and an annual turnover of US$13.2 million.
