Giuseppe Maria Bernardo Puccio
Principal
Giuseppe is a principal at Oaklins Italy, leading its corporate finance, ECM, DCM and securitization teams. He also serves on Oaklins International’s executive committee as vice president for Europe and MENA. Experienced in Italian as well as cross-border transactions, he has consolidated relationships with corporates and financial sponsors active in Italy and abroad. He has successfully supervised Oaklins Italy’s origination and execution teams in all the most relevant deals over the last few years and has provided senior advisory services to the key decision makers. Some recent deals include the sale of a majority stake in Crionet to White Bridge (software), the acquisition of U-Power by NB Renaissance (consumer), the acquisition of Mapel by Rino Mastrotto (supplier to the fashion industry), the sale of Massimo Zero to Botzen Invest (food) and the acquisition of Testing by White Lab (testing and certification). Recent ECM deals include assisting Saipem in their rights issue, acting as bookrunner; and advising General Finance and IMD in their IPOS, in both cases as global coordinator.
Giuseppe graduated in economics, chartered accountancy and auditing from the University of Palermo. He began his career in Banca Commerciale Italiana in the financial sponsors team. Before joining Oaklins Italy, Giuseppe worked for Mediobanca for over 10 years, where his last assignment was as head of investment banking – mid-corporate, then for more than six years at Banca Akros as head of investment banking and, since 2022, as general manager.
