Conor Guerin

Manager

Conor is a manager at Capnua, Oaklins’ member firm in Ireland. He specializes in all areas of M&A and private equity. His experience includes multiple buy-side, sell-side and debt financing transactions, with a strong focus on the engineering, healthcare and consumer sectors. Conor has worked on several corporate and private equity transactions in the mission critical infrastructure sector, including the sale of Ethos Engineering to Exponent Private Equity and the sale of CRS Group to Coolworld Refrigeration (an Arcus Infrastructure Partners company). In the healthcare sector, Conor advised on the sale of Accuscience to Diploma plc (a FTSE 100 company), while various buy-side mandates for Uniphar PLC included the acquisition of Dutch-based BModesto Group and McCauleys, a chain of more than 40 pharmacies. He has also advised on a number of large banking transactions, such as the €550 million (US$601 million) refinancing of Uniphar PLC with seven domestic and international financial institutions.

Prior to joining Capnua, Conor was at Davy Stockbrokers in Dublin, working across the corporate finance and capital markets team. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and has a first-class honors BSc in Economics and Finance from University College Dublin.
