Karsten Maschler joins our team as Managing Director

We are pleased to announce that Karsten Maschler joins our team in Hamburg as Managing Director.

Karsten brings nearly 20 years of experience in M&A and corporate finance advisory. He has deep expertise in the consumer goods industry, including fish and meat, food logistics, plant-based proteins, grain processing and baking, textile production and retail. In addition, Karsten has many years of deal experience from numerous M&A and debt transactions, which he successfully led to closing during his time as Head of M&A and previously as Sector Head for Consumer Goods at HSH Nordbank.

Prior to joining Oaklins, Karsten headed the corporate finance business of Hamburg Commercial Bank AG, which, in addition to advising on mergers and acquisitions, also specialized in complex financing for medium-sized companies. Together with the team, he will drive Oaklins Germany's growth strategy from the Hamburg office.
