Office Centre acquires Staples’ German retail activities

The company’s Office Centre brand was re-introduced after the shareholders acquired the Dutch retail activities of Staples in 2018. The former retail activities of Staples Germany will also be rebranded and incorporated within the organization. With this acquisition, the company's network of over 40 retail locations in the Netherlands is expanded with approximately 60 locations in Germany. Online activities will now include the German market as well. Frans Davelaar, CEO and shareholder of Office Centre, states: “We are excited to work together with the German team. The Oaklins’ transaction team consisted of Adse de Kock and Sander van ‘t Spijker. Adse de Kock, who led the transaction on behalf of Oaklins, commented: “This is our second transaction for Office Centre within a year.
