Oaklins' team in Finland advises KSS Energia Oy on the acquisition of Karhu Voima OY from Kotkan Energia Oy and Haminan Energia Oy
Finland-based KSS Energia Oy has acquired the shares of the local energy sector player Karhu Voima Oy from Kotkan Energia Oy and Haminan Energia Oy.
Karhu Voima is a sales and service company in the energy sector, with over 7,500 customers in Southern Kymenlaakso and other parts of Finland. In addition to own electricity sales, Karhu Voima provides customer service and invoicing service to Kotkan Energia and Haminan Energia, which acted as sellers in this transaction. Karhu Voima will continue operating as a subsidiary of KSS Energia under its energy trading business segment.
