France-based Apax Partners has acquired SK FireSafety Group from Bencis Capital Partners. Financial details of this transaction have not been disclosed.
Apax Partners is a private equity firm. It seeks to invest in technology, telecom, retail and consumer goods, media, healthcare and financial services businesses.
SK FireSafety Group, based in the Netherlands, is a manufacturer of fire protection equipments, specializing in three areas: sale and maintenance of fire protection products, design and installation of fire detection and suppression systems and equipment for use in critical environments in industry, infrastructure, IT and the oil & gas business, and maintenance of cabin safety equipment specific to the aviation sector.
Bencis Capital Partners is a Dutch private equity firm targeting medium sized companies in the Benelux countries. It invests between US$6.5–65 million in companies with turnover between US$52–650 million and enterprise value between US$32–320 million.
