CMI has sold Infostrada–Southfields to the management team

Consolidated Media Industries (CMI), a portfolio company of Bencis Capital Partners, has sold the full service sports and media company Infostrada Productions to its management, Arthur Zuijderwijk and Ernst Veldkamp. The company is rebranded as Southfields. Financial details have not been disclosed.

Based in the Netherlands, Infostrada Productions, recently rebranded as Southfields, is active in producing, distributing, publishing and monetizing sports video content across multiple platforms. Among others, Southfields’ partners consist of broadcasters and media publishers.

Ernst Veldkamp and Arthur Zuijderwijk, directors of Southfields: “We are proud and happy to have acquired the company, which has been independently operational for more than 13 years. We look forward to working together on many productions with our highly experienced and creative staff with the highest quality standards."

CMI develops technology for the creation, management, storage distribution and monetization of digital media and provide this technology to broadcasters, media companies and rights owners as a fully customizable managed service or through a product portfolio that offers best-of-breed solutions for specific functions or processes.

Peter Rademaker, CEO of CMI Holding, said: “After the sale of the sports media company Infostrada Sports to Gracenote, Oaklins' Dutch team adequately and successfully advised CMI on the sale of Infostrada Productions. The sale brings CMI more in line with its renewed strategy, internationalizing the registration, management and distribution of video content. I wish Southfields’ management and employees all the best in realizing their ambitions."

Oaklins' team in the Netherlands acted as the exclusive M&A advisor to the seller in this transaction.
