The shareholders of Roos+Bijl have sold the company to SGS. Financial details have not been disclosed.

Roos+Bijl is a consultancy and engineering company specializing fully in underground infrastructure. The company is a specialist in designing all possible cable and pipeline routes and is primarily active in the Netherlands, but has also done work abroad. Services include feasibility studies, technical calculations and detailed engineering as well as overall project management and supervision, including the processing of all legal aspects.

SGS is the world's leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. With more than 85,000 employees, the company operates a network of more than 1,800 offices and laboratories around the world.

Oaklins' team in the Netherlands acted as advisor to the seller in this transaction.
