Smartwares Home Improvement has successfully raised acquisition financing funds from Atlantic Capital
Smartwares B.V. has sold Smartwares Home Improvement to Atlantic Capital, a Dutch independent private equity firm, for an undisclosed consideration.
Smartwares Home Improvement is a distributor of non-food consumer products which contribute to upgrading living and working environments. The company’s products include an optimal mix of A-brands, own brands and private label in various segments: electricity (installing equipment, switching equipment, wire and cable, connecting devices and audio/video); hardware (fasteners, door hardware, various hardware); painting supplies (brushes, rollers, painting tools, painting materials); and sanitary (bathroom furniture and accessories).
Oaklins' team in the Netherlands advised Atlantic Capital and the management team on raising financing for the acquisition.
