Unica has successfully acquired Nsecure

Unica, the largest independent provider of technical services in the Netherlands, has successfully acquired Nsecure, a security management systems integrator, from Nederlandsche Apparatenfabriek “Nedap”.

Unica is the largest technical services provider in the Netherlands and industry leader in sustainable solutions. The company offers complementary specialized and innovative electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and ICT services. It mainly serves clients in non-cyclical sectors such as data centers, education, healthcare, hospitality and industry. Unica was founded more than 80 years ago and fosters a culture based on family values and long term sustainable growth. As such, Unica has been able to grow strongly from a regional player into the largest independent Dutch technical services company with more than 2,200 skilled employees and a countrywide footprint.

Nsecure is a leading security management system integrator, with a market leading position in access control. The company designs, configures and implements security systems tailored to customer requirements, integrating security technology and software from various external suppliers to end customers along the entire security management value chain. This takeover means that the company will now be able to showcase its successes amongst Unica clients. The target groups served by Nsecure closely match those which are supported by other (specialized) Unica companies. As part of the Unica organization, Nsecure will be able to continue to expand organically and via acquisitions, with its growth ambitions closely paralleling the "buy-and-build" strategy followed by Unica.

Over the years, Unica has managed to establish a proven track record with Unica Security. This has resulted in the award of prestigious orders, such as the realization of a new monitoring and security system for the defense forces (DBBS), which Unica carries out jointly with Thales. With the acquisition of Nsecure, Unica is now able to unlock new specialized knowledge, which will help expand the range of technical solutions the company is able to offer in the field of building engineering services.
