EnergieWonen has been acquired by Essent

EnergieWonen and ZON7, two fast-growing companies in the solar power systems for the residential market, have been sold to Essent N.V.

EnergieWonen is a leading company in the sale and installation of solar power systems in the Dutch residential sector. The group consists of EnergieWonen in Almere, EnergieWonen InstallatieService (EWiS) in Ede and ZON7 in Lelystad.

Essent, based in 's-Hertogenbosch, is the largest energy company in the Netherlands. Essent is part of the Innogy Group.

Oaklins' team in the Netherlands acted as the exclusive M&A advisor to the seller in this transaction.
