Avion Group B.V. has raised US$11.5m growth capital from a group of investors led by Kempen

A group of investors led by Kempen Private Markets has invested US$11.5 million in Avion Group B.V. (Avion) to fund the development of its second training center with an in-house developed simulator, for which Avion already signed a contract with the UK flight school IAGO to set up this training center in London. In addition, the funding will be used to further develop the existing simulator.

Avion is a Dutch developer and manufacturer of high-tech full flight motion simulators. Avion has a fully certified Airbus A320 simulator operational in its own training center on Malta from where it serves several airlines that train their pilots at Avion's center.

Oaklins' team in the Netherlands acted as fundraising advisor to Avion and its shareholders.
