Nihot Recycling Technology B.V. has been acquired by Bulk Handling Systems
The shareholders of Nihot Recycling Technology B.V. (Nihot) have successfully sold 100% of their shares to Bulk Handling Systems (BHS).
Nihot is a global leader in the design and manufacture of air separation technologies. The company’s products and solutions separate waste based on material density and volume, and can be utilized in a variety of applications such as construction and demolition waste, refuse derived fuel, biomass, municipal solid waste and recyclables. With over 500 operational references worldwide, Nihot has a reputation of reliability, efficiency as well as experience and competence.
BHS, based in Eugene, Oregon, USA, is a worldwide leader in the innovative design, engineering, manufacturing and installation of sorting systems and components for the solid waste, recycling, waste-to-energy, and construction and demolition industries. With the acquisition of Nihot, BHS will strengthen the integrated solutions that it offers its customers.

Nihot was majority-owned by Stibbe Participaties, an industrial holding company with a broad portfolio of investments in equipment companies in the sectors Pharma & Fine Chemicals, Food & Dairy and Environment.
