Nicolai Audon

Director

Nicolai is a director at Oaklins Beierholm in Denmark. He is the day-to-day project manager responsible for M&A projects in the Danish mid-market, and in daily contact with clients, potential buyers and other advisors throughout the advisory process. Nicolai has broad industry experience. Notable transactions he has recently been involved in include the sale of the specialized Danish niche engineering consultancy Bang & Beenfeldt to Blue Equity, the sale of the leading Danish landscaping company OKNygaard to French idverde, the sale of the AI software development powerhouse Grazper Technologies to Japanese Yokogawa and the sale of the Danish visual effects company GHOST VFX to Hollywood-based Streamland Media.

Prior to joining Oaklins, Nicolai was a corporate development associate at WS Atkins plc in London, the UK’s largest engineering consultancy firm (which has since been acquired by Canadian SNC-Lavalin). Nicolai worked on various global sell- and buy-side transactions, corporate development and strategic assessments for the group. Before joining Atkins in 2012, Nicolai worked in M&A advisory at Rothschild out of London. He has a master’s in finance and corporate restructuring from the University of Wales, London, UK, and a master’s in international business from SKEMA Business School, Nice, France.
