Industrial Stars of Italy 3 has successfully raised US$177 million
Industrial Stars of Italy 3 SpA (Indstars 3) has completed an IPO and raised US$177 million which will be used to support the internationalization plans of a still-to-be-selected Italian industrial leader with whom the SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) will merge. The resulting company will initially be listed on AIM and shortly thereafter on the main Milan Stock Exchange.
Indstars 3 is the third SPAC led by the promoters Giovanni Cavallini, Attilio Arietti, Davide Milano and Enrico Arietti, following Industrial Stars of Italy SpA, which completed its business combination with LU-VE Spa in 2015, and Industrial Stars of Italy 2 SpA, which merged with SIT Group in February 2017.
Oaklins' team in Italy has successfully completed the IPO of the 18th SPAC, Indstars 3, which was supported by Akros Bank acting as global coordinator, Aletti Bank and Banor SIM acting as joint bookrunners. Investors include family offices, institutional investors as well as high-net-worth individuals. Oaklins' Italian team designed the structure of the SPAC, was involved in the placement roadshow and promoted the SPAC together with successful Italian entrepreneur Giovanni Cavallini, former CEO and President of Interpump Group, a listed player active in the pumps and valves industry.
