Banca Transilvania has acquired a 20% stake in Timesafe Srl for an undisclosed consideration.

Founded in 1993, Banca Transilvania is a banking institution with headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Currently it is the second bank in the country in terms of assets.

Timesafe develops an application used for managing and paying utility bills, prepaid card downloading and pay-per-plane payments. The company was founded in 2016 and is based in Bucharest, Romania.
