Senior Associate

Koen is a senior associate in the M&A mid-market team at Oaklins Netherlands. He has worked across a range of projects, valuations and transactions, covering the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), energy, horticulture and private equity sectors. Recent M&A deals include the acquisition of Luminis by M80 Partners, the acquisition of BPSOLUTIONS by M80 Partners, the acquisition of Naish by Kubus Sports, the sale of Embrace to Aareon, the sale of TOPIC to Technology & Strategy, the sale of Kubus Sports to Transformation Capital, the acquisition of Dräger’s Dutch fire & gas business unit by Unica and the sale of Top Systems to Holland Capital.

Koen joined the team in 2021 following internships at a corporate finance boutique and Oaklins Netherlands in 2020. He has a master’s in finance and investments (cum laude) from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Utrecht University.
