Cédric Michils

Managing Director

Cédric is a managing director and head of ECM activities at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium. With over a decade of investment banking experience, Cédric has broad ECM expertise in a variety of sectors combined with a strong track record in private transactions involving sell-side M&A and private placements. Recent clients include Biobest, Avantium, Hyloris, Microflor and Biotalys.

Cédric rejoined the firm in 2023. After graduating in 2010 as a commercial engineer from the Louvain School of Management, he joined KPMG as an auditor and then worked in transaction advisory services at EY, joining the M&A advisory team in 2014. In 2015 he started at Oaklins KBC Securities, advising on both ECM and M&A mandates. In 2021, he moved to Berenberg to lead ECM activities for the Benelux. Cédric is a CFA charterholder.
