Fausto Levy

Principal

Fausto is the executive chairman and founder of Oaklins Canada. With over 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financial engineering, Fausto specializes in advising mid-market companies on cross-border transactions. His key areas of expertise include transportation, manufacturing, business support services, real estate and TMT (technology, media and telecommunications). Recent transactions he has advised on include the buy-side acquisition of BW Services by Sojitz Corporation, the sell-side representation of Stageline and facilitating strategic real estate investments for institutional and private investors. Prior transactions include the sale of ImportFab, a pharmaceutical contract manufacturer; the sale of Plurison, a distributor of high-end audio equipment; and the divestiture of Cavalia, a renowned entertainment company. Fausto has also been instrumental in working with institutional investors and family offices such as CDPQ, Novacap, Ridgemont and FTM Capital, delivering tailored solutions to create long-term value.

Before founding Oaklins Canada, Fausto held senior leadership roles at Bombardier Rail, CN Rail, AMF Technotransport and Newcourt Capital, where he gained extensive operational and financial expertise. He currently serves on the boards of companies in telecommunications, radar technology and manufacturing across Canada and Europe. Additionally, Fausto is the president of the Julius Richardson Hospital Foundation, demonstrating his commitment to community engagement.
