Mugo has been acquired by Osmaïa
The private shareholders of Mugo have sold a majority stake in the company to Osmaïa, a leading player in France’s green spaces sector.
This strategic acquisition of Mugo, renowned for its expertise in recurring maintenance and innovations in biodiversity — including urban greening and beekeeping — marks a key milestone in Osmaïa’s goal to become a leader in supporting communities and businesses through their ecological transition. The transaction enhances Osmaïa’s capabilities in the private market, expands its territorial network and consolidates its presence in the Île-de-France region.
Founded in 2009 by Benjamin and Gautier la Combe, Mugo is a recognized leader in the creation and maintenance of green spaces for private professional clients, including key accounts and facility managers. The company is built on deep expertise in key ecological areas. As a multi-specialist, Mugo offers a comprehensive range of services, with maintenance and recurring contracts at the core of its strategy. These include design, landscaping, maintenance, pruning, decoration and horticulture. With a workforce of 500 employees, Mugo maintains a strategic national presence across 20 French cities, including eight in the Île-de-France region.
Osmaïa, formerly known as Pinson Paysage, is one of France’s leading companies in the creation, landscaping and maintenance of green spaces. Since October 2019, Osmaïa has been majority-owned by MBO & Co., which orchestrated the carveout from the Atalian Group, enabling the company and its management team to independently pursue an ambitious development strategy and implement an active consolidation policy.
Oaklins’ team in France led a dual-track process with a select group of candidates and acted as the exclusive sell-side financial advisor, helping Mugo’s shareholders find the best partner to drive their growth.
