Reinsurance Management Associates has been acquired by Constellation Affiliated Partners
The owners of Reinsurance Management Associates, Inc. (RMA), a reinsurance MGA based in Toronto, Canada, have completed the sale of their shares in RMA to Constellation Affiliated Partners (Constellation), a portfolio company of RedBird Capital Partners. RedBird Capital Partners is a New-York based private equity firm, with
financial backing from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
RMA is a privately held third-party administrator and managing general underwriter that specializes in life reinsurance, accident and health reinsurance, and creditor insurance.
Constellation is one of the largest program management operations in North America, providing unique, specialty products through a full suite of underwriting, distribution and claims management services.
Oaklins’ team in Canada acted as the exclusive financial advisor to RMA.
