Interwaste Holdings Limited has been acquired and delisted by Séché South Africa Proprietary

The Wilco family, founder of Interwaste Holdings Limited (Interwaste), together with minority shareholders, have sold the company to Séché South Africa Proprietary Limited.

Interwaste is a leading South African integrated waste management company.

Séché South Africa Proprietary is a subsidiary of the French public company Groupe Séché. Operating in 15 countries around the world and with 40 sites in France, Séché Environnement is a major player in the circular economy and waste management for companies and communities. Séché Environnement offers energy recovery solutions for hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including treatment of non-recoverable waste by storage or thermal processing, whatever the nature of wastes, even for the most complex ones.

Oaklins' team in South Africa acted as JSE sponsor to Interwaste in respect of the takeover and take private of the company.
